Sustainability is the idea that the actions that individuals and societies take today should not reduce the quality of life of future generations. The idea is that we should do things in a way that our planets resources are not depleted for future generations. Given the importance of this concept societies are now going through a sustainability transition across all aspects of life and companies have been set up to support the development and adoption of sustainability concepts. The aim of the sustainability day is to raise awareness of companies approaches to sustainability. This includes products and services covering all aspects of our daily lives. During the day companies will give short talks about their work and the key factors of sustainability. They will also discuss their products and services in a mini fare allowing more interaction between students and companies.
